IABC/SC is powering up its efforts to bring Charleston area business communicators together to meet other professionals, enjoy relevant programming, and explore professional opportunities.

Please join us for our first event on Thursday, April 20, from 5 to 6:30 pm. for a panel discussion and dialogue on “Power Up Your Presentations.” The event is free and light refreshments will be served.

Panelists Laura Camacho, Lisa Bowers and Chris Noland will explain how they’re evolving the way they’re creating presentations for themselves and others they support in our ever-changing environment. Let’s face it, if people even show up for events, they’re often more excited to engage with their devices and peers than listen to the expert in front of the room.

Brain-friendly meeting facilitator and longtime IABC member Liz Guthridge will work to engage you and your colleagues in sharing your points of view on this topic. We’ll also have plenty of Q&A with the panelists as well as each other. And we’ll explore what types of future programming, events and community you’d like to create.

Special bonus for this free event! Our hostess at the American College of the Building Arts has offered to give anyone who comes at 4:30 pm a tour of the building, which is the restored Trolley building.
