About the Speaker
Kelsi Brewer
Director, Corporate Communications and Community Giving, South Carolina Ports
As Director of Corporate Communications and Community Giving, Ms. Brewer is responsible for the organization’s corporate communications, advertising, website, and Community Giving Program for charitable organizations. She works with local, state and national media to earn coverage of port news.
Kelsi joined the Port in 2015 as the External Affairs Coordinator, leading community outreach, including social media and the Community Giving Program. Prior to joining the Port, Kelsi was a Production Assistant for Fox News Channel in New York City.
Kelsi is a Leadership Charleston graduate, a Charleston Regional Business Journal 40 Under 40 recipient, a Trident United Way Marketing Advisory committee member, and is involved in numerous charitable organizations.
Kelsi received a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
