Eric Berrios
Independent Brand Strategist

Eric Berrios' photoEric Berrios is an independent brand strategist with over 25 years of integrated marketing experience in B2B, spanning brand approach all the way through to marketing activation and sales effectiveness. Eric had worked in agency life for most of his career as head of client services for a range of clients and businesses before splintering off in 2019. Now, he works as a fractional CMO for a limited number of clients while supporting a small boutique agency as in-house strategist and advisor.

An avid environmentalist and supporter of causes, Eric treats work as his practical means to fund his gardening habits. As a board member of IABC, Eric has served and managed Professional Recognition for a decade promoting the Golden Flames Awards.

 

Tracie Broom
Co-Founding Partner, Flock and Rally: Integrated Communications and Marketing

Tracie Broome's photoCo-founding partner at Flock and Rally, Tracie Broom is a marketing and communications professional from Columbia, who believes in building connections between people, knowledge and resources to strengthen the community. She started her career as a writer and editor in San Francisco during the dot-com era, serving clients such as CNET, Toyota and SF Station, where she served as food editor for a decade. In 2010, she co-founded Flock and Rally, a full-service, women-owned creative agency that provides integrated communications and marketing services to clients in sectors such as higher education, nonprofit, travel and tourism, technology, health care, government, economic development and more.

Broom served as co-founding partner and chief strategy officer at Flock and Rally until Sept. 2022, when she and co-founder Debi Schadel elevated longtime colleague Merritt McNeely to the role of CEO. (Both owners now hold the title of co-founding partner.) Since 2010, the business has grown from a partnership of two founders into a much larger operation that employs 15-20 full-time staff and serves 40-45 clients at any given time. While the firm’s client base is diverse and spans South Carolina and beyond, Flock and Rally specializes in serving institutional clients that require a full range of services, from strategy and branding to media relations, digital marketing, advertising and more.

 

Todd Hudak
BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina

Todd Hudak's photoTodd Hudak is a communications account representative at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, where he has worked for the past decade.

Todd began his career as a reporter and editor at several South Carolina newspapers. He has also worked in university communications and at an ad agency as a writer and account rep.

Todd earned a B.A. degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina and an M.S. degree in integrated marketing communications from West Virginia University. He is also an adjunct online instructor at WVU, teaching journalism and public relations courses.

He is a longtime IABC member and served on the IABC board for several years.
